Not as widely available as DoorDash or Grubhub, but when Gopuff covers your area, it’s a genuinely top-tier delivery service — reliable 95% of the time, if not higher, in my experience.
It’s become my go-to for nicotine pouches and vapes, and whenever I want junk food they usually have something new and interesting in rotation rather than the same static aisle every time — new Oreo flavors that are still only in small-market trials, dill pickle popcorn, stuff like that. In some ways the whole selection reads like it’s built around people with the munchies. Which, fair: stoners tend to have decent taste.
They also sell alcohol, though I don’t drink, so I can’t really speak to that side of the business. What I can say is they handle ID scanning for age-restricted stuff reasonably well on their end. Whether they’re handling that data responsibly on the back end afterward, I genuinely don’t know — hopefully so.
Their discounted, near-expiry deals feature has been a mixed bag for me specifically. The first time I used it, the bundle was a great match for what I actually like. Every time since, it’s mostly been stuff I don’t want. If you’ve got kids or a less picky household, it’s a genuinely good way to grab snacks cheap — it just doesn’t line up with my own tastes most of the time.
I also recall running into a customer service issue with them at some point, but it was handled well enough that I honestly can’t remember the details anymore — which says more about how smoothly it got resolved than anything else.
